USA Shooting Spring Selection Match – International Trap
Traveling to West Palm Beach, SCTP International Team members Miranda Bernau, Lucy Myers, Olivia Krauss, Trey Greeson, Luke Johnson, Max Hatfield, Ryan Brown attended USA Shooting’s Spring Selection Match in hopes of earning their spot on the USA Shooting Junior National Team.
“This competition was a perfect storm of uncontrollables – strong winds, rain, chilling temperatures, poor visibility, technical issues, wildlife interruptions – we had it all,” said SCTP International Team Coach, Terri DeWitt. “But this is what we train for. And what I mean by that is training our mindset to accept and manage the uncontrollables. I’m so very proud of our athletes – they gave 100% effort, they didn’t quit, and they found ways to focus on the positive throughout it all when for sure it would’ve been much easier to just give up.”
